Four seriously wounded are battling between life and dead at the Laquintinie hospital.

Gregory Amuzuwa Obodo and an unidentified adult were the unfortunate victims of an accident at Dernier Poteau that could have been averted if not for the drunken state of a 47-year-old driver, Ngongang Thierry Alain. According to report from the 6th District Police Station, the driver of the mini bus heading towards Nkololoun, crushed a bike rider plying on the same direction, lose control of the vehicle and cross to the other side of the road separated by an elevated median line crushing another bike rider and pedestrians. In all, six victims were recorded; two died on the spot and four seriously injured. Confused after the careless show, bus driver, Ngongang Thierry rushed to the 8th District Police Station for safety and was later ferried to the 1st District Police Station for questioning. The wounded and corpses were respectively taken to the Laquintinie Hospital and Mortuary.
