The two leaders expressed their determination at a State banquet in Abuja organised in honour of Cameroon’s Presidential couple.
It took well over two hours for Cameroonian and Nigerian leaders, President Paul Biya and Muhammadu Buhari respectively to go through the items programmed for the State banquet organised in the Nigerian capital, Abuja yesterday evening.
President Biya and wife were welcomed by the Nigerian first couple at a solemn ceremony accompanied by 21 gun salute.
Upon arrival in Nigeria, the First Couple of Cameroon was treated to a warm welcome from Cameroonians living in Nigeria as well as Nigerians.

C’est aux alentours de 11h hier, que le couple présidentiel a foulé le sol d’Abuja, capitale fédérale du Nigeria. Par l’aéroport international Nnamdi Azikiwe, où il a été accueilli par le vice-président nigérian Yeni Osinbajo.
Les pistes de ce rapprochement ont été déblayées hier au cours d’une séance de travail à Abuja.
Les épouses des présidents camerounais et nigérian, Mmes Chantal Biya et Aisha Buhari, se sont retrouvées en marge du tête-à-tête de leurs époux. C’est dans le cadre de la visite d’Etat que le président de la République, Paul Biya, entreprend depuis hier au Nigéria.
