Prime Minister Philemon Yang recently granted an audience to Mauritania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mauritania, Naha Mint Hamdi Ould Mouknass said in Yaounde recently that President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz will attend celebrations marking 50 years of Cameroon’s independence. Prime Minister Philemon Yang last Wednesday night granted an audience to the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Mauritanian minister was equally the bearer of a special sealed message from President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz to his Cameroonian counterpart, President Paul Biya. She therefore handed the message to Philemon Yang for onward transmission to the Head of State.

Mr Yang and Naha Mint Hamdi used the audience to review relations between Cameroon and Mauritania and also explored ways of strengthening them.
