Fovu football club has officially put an end to their threat to boycott the final of the cup of Cameroon which they are supposed play against Astres football club of Douala.

The decision is contained in a letter dated September 21, written by the president of the club, Kamdem Dieudonné to the president of the Cameroon football federation. “Fovu of Baham will participate in the final of the 2010 edition of the Cup of Cameroon on the date, time and place indicated by Fecafoot”, the letter states. The change of hearts comes after an injunction by the President of Fecafoot, Iya Mohamed giving the club from the west region until September 22 to state whether they were going to take part in the final or not. If not so, Fovu was going to be replaced by another team as stated by the regulations governing the Cup of Cameroon.
