The consul General of Littoral and the West organised a Dinner with Press Persons in Douala.

The Consul- General for the Littoral and the West regions, Samuel Ekpa and his collaborators have celebrated the Nigerian 50th anniversary with some press men in a dinner organised at the consul general’s residence in Bonapriso, Douala. The purpose of the dinner was also to relate informally with the journalists and to give highlights of how the Nigerian Golden Jubilee which will be celebrated on October 4, at the party hall in Bonanjo will look like.

During the event, the Consul General said the event will begin at 10 am on the 4 with an open house for Nigerians and friends of Nigeria, and latter in the evening there will be an official session with diplomats and governments which will be strictly on invitation.

The consul general commenting on Nigeria’s relationship with Cameroon said they have come a long way putting aside the pass differences and all is well. He said meetings like the Mixed Commission is just to go a long way to strengthen the relationship. He added that they are still working hard to keep the relationship to go further.

The consul general also called on Nigerians in Cameroon to be law abiding and to be good ambassadors of Nigeria.
