State Property And Land Tenure: New Inspector General Takes Command

Jean Marie Vianney Bendegue, new Inspector General of the Ministry of State Property and Land Tenure has officially been installed with a call to shun corruption and embrace hard work. While commissioning him, Minister Jean Baptiste Beléoken advised him to work in collaboration with the outfit’s anti-corruption unit so as to eliminate the scourge. He also urged the incoming Inspector General to take advantage of his long experience to move the ministry forward as prescribed by the Head of State. Appointed last October 8 by a Presidential Decree, 39 year-old Jean Marie Vianney has served at the Prime Minister’s Office from 2000 to 2005 and from 2005 to 2009 as Head of the Follow-Up Department at the Ministry of State Property and Land Tenure. He was challenged to use his competence in collaboration with the Secretary General and entire staff to implement and foster the roadmap of the ministry. To the outgoing Inspector General, Emmanuel Ndjere, Jean Baptiste Beléoken expressed gratitude for what he termed loyal services offered the ministry during his tenure. Excellent services which he said may not be unconnected with the promotion of the erstwhile Inspector General to the post of Secretary General in the Ministry of Communication.
