Directors and heads of commercial departments of companies in the Centre Region took part in a one-day seminar which place in Yaounde yesterday.

Commercial function helps in restructuring a company, improves on its image while reinforcing its appeal to young graduates. It is for this reason that a one-day seminar on commercial function opened in Yaounde yesterday. Organised by the Centre Regional branch of the National Employment Fund, the workshop brought together heads of companies and representatives from commercial departments of companies in the region.

The theme of the workshop was “Commercial function: Contribution in the performance of enterprises in an environment of competition and job opportunities”. The objective of the workshop was to valorise commercial function and to replace it in the centre of activities of goods or services in enterprises or the entire production unit. The seminar workshop was within the framework of NEF partnership with enterprises on the one hand and development partners on the other hand in its mission of promoting employment in national territory. Participants listened to presentations on topics such as commercial function, the importance of function in an environment of competition, and employment opportunities and perspectives.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, the Director of the Centre Regional Agency of the National Employment Fund, Jacques Ledoux Etonde called on the participants to show proof innovation and creativity during the training in order to meet the objectives of the NEF.
