The finals of the volleyball championship will take place this week end at the Yaounde sports complex in Warda. The finals of the championship dubbed “Camtel Volleyball Championship” will pit Bafia VB Evolution against INJS Yaounde in the feminine category while Port VB of Douala will slug it out with FAP volleyball club of Yaounde in the male category. The finals were delayed due to the involvement of the male volleyball national team in the world championships in Italy and the unavailability of the Yaounde sports complex for competition before now. The cup of Cameroon finals was however played before in order to enable the winner to be presented during the football cup of Cameroon final which closes the sports season. The championship finals will be presided over by the minister of sports and physical education, Michel Zoah.
