Militants thank chairman Biya for landmark gifts to the population of the Region. Paul Biya, President of the Republic and Chairman of the ruling CPDM party is still the name on virtually all lips days after his memorable outing in Bamenda for the 50th anniversary of the Armed Forces from December 8th-10th, 2010.While the entire population of the Region continue to thank the President for rekindling their hopes with gifts that speak, CPDM militants are sounding off about the generosity of their National chairman. That was the case with militants from Ngoketungia II- Balikumbat special constituency who massively travelled to Bamenda to herald the Head of State. They later retired to Balikumbat with song and dance in praise of their Chairman whose outing in Bamenda has been saluted by all as great.

It is against this backdrop that the Joint Section Executives of Ngoketungia II issued a motion committing to reinforce their support for the National Chairman, Paul Biya. The motion signed by Section President, Dingha Ignatius Bayin, WCPDM President Kohshey Christina Mombe and YCPDM President, Leong Ali Musa hail the President for his resounding visit to Bamenda and his huge and generous promises to take the North West forward. They welcome President Biya’s offer as Christmas gifts. They also sound off with the creation of a State University, the promise to construct the total stretch of the ring road, imminent studies to build a referral hospital in Bamenda, construction of a dam on Menchum Falls and the installation of a thermal electric supply in Bamenda to reinforce electricity supply. It is also against this background that Ngoketungia II CPDM, Balikumbat militants have reiterated their appeal for Paul Biya to run as the CPDM natural candidate for the 2011 Presidential elections because they have mobilised towards a 100 per cent vote for their Chairman. Balikumbat special constituency also jumped for joy with the 1st Lady of the Nation, Chantal Biya lifted to the venerated pedestal of Mafor of all the Mafors of the North West Region.
