An elated Nfon V.E. Mukete, President of the CPDM Meme Divisional Registration Committee acknowledged the difficulties faced in Mbonge such as bad roads and the people’s wish for the creation of Mbonge Division and the provision of other amenities. Nfon V.E. Mukete called on every person of voting age to get registered in the ongoing registration of voters by ELECAM. He said a vote for President Paul Biya is a vote for peace, stability, unity, national integration and development. “With our overwhelming vote for him in 2011, a fair share of the national cake shall be given us to cement our development here in Mbonge and Meme Division in general,” Nfon V.E Mukete said. He urged the installed members of the Council Registration Committee to revitalize the cells, do grassroots sensitization and ensure that President Biya gets 100% votes in Meme II. “Statistics speak for themselves. We’ve done poorly in the past. Let it not repeat itself. Let’s vote massively,” Nfon V.E. Mukete stressed.
Mr. Otte Andrew Mofa, President of the Meme II (Mbonge) Council Registration Committee assured Nfon V.E. Mukete that like David before Goliath, the Committee will overcome all hurdles and the results will be positive. Mbonge Subdivision, he said, has 96 villages and a surface area of 4000 square kilometers. As Nfon V.E. Mukete and his delegation left Mbonge for Kumba, the CPDM militants re-assured him of their determination not only to register massively but to vote massively for President Paul Biya.
