Russia’s Ambassador to Cameroon, Nikolai L. Ratsiborinskiy, made the revelation yesterday March 28 after an audience granted him by Cameroon’s Minister of Industries, Mines and Technological Development, Badel Ndanga Ndinga. The diplomat said his meeting with Mr Ndanga Ndinga and his close collaborators was to see what is being done and what could be done to deepen the cooperation for the mutual benefits of both countries. “Basically, we have Russian companies interested in investing in Cameroon. They have a huge chain of investments in the domain of natural resources as well as the development of infrastructure. The building of the capacities of geologists is also in view”, Mr Nikolai L. Ratsiborinskiy told the press after the audience. He did not however disclose how soon the new-found cooperation could begin to bear fruit but stressed that the two parties will be meeting subsequently to discuss how to concretise the already began move.
