At a time when the country is embarking on giant development projects, the Minister invited all his aides and entire staff to offer their best for the country. “The country is expecting a lot from the ministry and this can only be achieved if we both work in synergy,” the Minister said. He challenged the newly appointed worker’s representative to be available, respectful, ready physically and intellectually, and above all efficiently communicate with management and the staff. He urged them to rethink the importance of putting in place a staff cooperative where everybody will actively participate in its management.
The worker’s representative, Pierre Christian Biyong Sende, had earlier acknowledged the assistance of the Minister to workers, while assuring him of their punctuality, effectiveness, efficiency, assiduity and diligence. He however, decried the lack of motivation that is said to reign in the ministry.
At the end of the day, workers and their boss, all clad in the Ministry’s outfit, accepted to work together for the good of Cameroon’s growth.
