Coton Sport bowed 0–2 to Enyimba of Nigeria on the 6th and last day of play of the group phase of the African Champions League. The defeat cost Coton Sport a semi final berth and worked in favour of rival, Al Hilal who sails through to the knock out stage after pulling a zero-all tie against Raja of Casablanca. But for the first half, the encounter between Enyimba and Coton Sport had nothing to do with football because of a heavy down pour which made the ball unable to bounce, wiped away all the tracing lines on the field and hindered communication between the central referee and the linesmen.
