Fear gripped students and authorities of Lycée Dibombari about 10 km from Douala, when its night-watch was found soaked in a pool of his own blood. The body of Fustin Chamawoa, 27, was found behind the school’s canteen in the morning of Friday, August 14.

Gendarme sources say the corpse bore wounds, indicating that he had been stabbed by unknown people. Doubts however abound as to the motive behind the killing, considering that nothing was stolen from the school. Local gendarmes have since conveyed his body to the Dibombari District Hospital Mortuary
