A release from the Ministry of Public Health signed Tuesday October 25 reminds the public that the bed nets should be used for the intended purpose.
The Minister of Public Health hereby reminds the entire Cameroonian population that Long-lasting Insecticide-treated Bed Nets (LLINs), which are the subject of the ongoing national sensitisation campaign, are intended to be distributed free of charge to counted households. These mosquito nets should therefore neither be sold nor bought.
The population is requested to denounce to the nearest administrative authorities or forces of law and order, anyone who sells them, or is illegally in possession of these mosquito nets.
The Minister of Public Health,
Andre Mama Fouda
