Three killers suspected of killing a night watchman, Christophe Nde, 65, last Thursday October 20 in a poultry farm belonging to Mrs Corentine Pabo in Bafoussam are in police custody at the Fourth Police Station in Bafoussam.

Reports say the men allegedly stole 12 cartons of eggs and 24 chickens. Following police investigations, one of the suspects, Laurent Fotie, was caught. He then named the other two partners in crime. They are Bouopda, 25, a driver and Takoutsing, 28, unemployed. After questioning, the suspected bandits revealed that they chained their victim and tied his mouth with scotch at 11:00 p.m. on the day of the incident. The killers who were armed with machetes and screwdrivers told the police that they were able to succeed in their plan following information given them by a worker in the poultry farm.

Meanwhile, the 12 cartons of stolen eggs were sold to Laurent Fotie and the chickens were to be used during the funeral ceremony of Bouopda’s mother. The suspects were arrested in less than 24 hours and will be taken to court. Investigations on the matter are going on.
