CHONELAZ Ltd donated equipment to boarders of the National Centre for the Rehabilitation of Disabled People last Thursday. 

It was an exceptional at the Cardinal Paul Emile Leger National Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled last Thursday, January 19. The tourism agency, CHONELAZ Ltd, donated equipment to boarders of the centre. The equipment comprised of wheelchairs and food items.

Speaking during the occasion, the Assistant Director of the centre, Dr. Alexandre Manga said the gesture is in line with government’s policy on the care and protection of vulnerable people in the society.

Dr Alexendre Managa used the occasion to present the problems of the centre which include lack of human resources, poverty, lack of equipment and the need to develop the image of the centre. He said the gesture is a beginning of partnership with the National Centre for the Rehabilitation of Disabled People. In response, the General Manager of CHONELAZ, Lazare Choupo Neguem said his company will continue to assist the centre in caring for the disabled. He called on the disabled people to be courageous and to know that the nation is waiting on them for the development of the nation.
