They thanked President Paul Biya on February 19 in Yaounde for appointing Doh Jerome.

The Bali Nyongha Development and Cultural Association, BANDECA, Yaounde chapter gathered on Sunday 19 February, 2012 and thanked President Paul Biya for appointing an illustrious son of theirs, Doh Jerome Penbaga as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice in charge of Penitentiary Administration. It was an occasion for the Bali Nyongha community to reiterate their solemn commitment to the Head of State’s political programme that is placed under the banner of prosperity and emergence in the presence of the guest of honour, Minister of State, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Laurent Esso.

The various speakers during the occasion, reiterated the need for the sons and daughters of Bali to massively register against the up-coming twin elections in order to give a landslide victory to the ruling CPDM candidates. In the course of the occasion, the president of BANDECA Yaounde branch, Isaac Babila Macauley reminded Bali people that the appointment of Doh Jerome is the beginning of their individual and collective duty to live up to expectation and give him their endless support in order to lift the party colours. According to the newly appointed Secretary of State, Bali community should transform their gratitude to action by registering to vote and by ensuring remarkable results when the moment comes. He equally challenged them to be law abiding and development-oriented.

His Royal Highness, Dr. Ganyongha III, traditional ruler of Bali Nyongha, whose enthronement in 1985 coincided with the year of birth of the CPDM party made a clarion call to his subjects to cooperate with the Secretary of State and demonstrate that the Head of State’s choice was the best. He told them that a divided house hardly succeeds, thus it is time to sing a song of forgiveness, unity, love and development. The occasion witnessed a motion of support read by Justice Prudence Galega, reaffirming their unflinching support and total adherence to the Head of State’s patriotic and republican ideals.
