Forty eight junior and senior officers received certificates after five months of training.

One colonel, three lieutenant colonels, nine squadron commanders and 35 captains have received certificates attesting they are ready to perform staff duties in any regiment of the corps. The 48 interns of the 32^nd batch of the Yaounde Military Staff College who are holders of company commander certificates were on February 22 honoured during a ceremony chaired by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Jean Baptiste Bokam.

From from October 3, 2011 to February 22, 2012, the junior staff of the air, land and marine forces were debriefed on international relation strategies to promote general knowledge in the corps, broader technical know-how and operational techniques.

A course participant Captain Arsène Parfait Amougou, said his performance was the fruit of intense hard work during the training. Though the training was tough, the Captain hinted he decided to be tougher, reason why he emerged first in the training that took them to parts of the country like the North West, South West and Far North Regions. He was grateful, but above all, optimistic, adding that, “Better days lie ahead.”
