New Ambassador of Philippines At MINREX

External Relations Minister on wednesday, February 22 had separate discussions with four diplomats.

Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo, on February 22, 2012 had separate discussions with four diplomats.

The new Ambassador of Philippines to Cameroon, Nestor Padalhin with residence in Abuja, Nigeria handed to the External Relations Minister, advanced copies of his letter of credence.

The High Commissioner of Australia to Cameroon, Ian Mc Conville, also with residence in Abuja, Nigeria, said their discussions centred on ways of strengthening bilateral relations in the areas of mining development, scholarships his government grants to Cameroon government officials in mining sector and sports.

Ravi Khumar, India’s Honorary Consul to Cameroon handed a sealed message to the External Relations Minister. He announced that India has made available to Cameroon a credit line of 40 million Dollars (about FCFA 20 billion) at soft terms for the development of the cassava sector.

The acting Chargé d’Affaires of Liberia, Siaka G. Fahnbulley used the courtesy visit to discuss with Moukoko Mbonjo ways of strengthening bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural domains with focus on reviewing previous agreements signed.
