Over 100 newly recruited staff are taking part in a workshop in Yaounde. A four-day seminar on the functioning of the public service and administrative techniques opened in Yaounde on Tuesday March 27.

Organised by the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing in collaboration with the National Advanced School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM), the seminar brings together over 100 participants from the ministry. The objective of the seminar is to train newly recruited staff of the ministry on techniques of ethics and administrative writing.

Speaking during the opening, the Minister of Urban development and Housing Jean Claude Mbwentchou called on the participants to benefit from the lectures received during the workshop in order to meet set objectives. At the end of the seminar, participants are expected to have mastery on aspects such as the “different administrative documents”, “Basic notions of administrative writing”, “Ethics and administrative writing”, “The methodology of management and treatment of administrative documents”, among others. Within the framework of the recruitment of 25,000 certificate holders in the public service … staff was assigned to the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing.
