CPDM: Mezam I A Section Shows Gratitude

Party supporters in a celebration rally on March 31 thanked President Biya for its creation.

The creation of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), Mezam I-A, Bamendankwe Section on March 14, 2012, is on song in the neighbourhood with party supporters sounding off about the decision in their commitment to stand solidly by CPDM Chairman, Paul Biya towards future victories for the party and the nation. In effect, March 31, 2012 was a day for the party in Bamendankwe when supporters filed out during a rally to celebrate the new creation, described by all as a welcomed move to boost militancy in the new section that covers the sub sections of Ntoh, Achichem, Ntaafi and Abangoh.

Ndumu Nji Vincent, an illustrious son of the new Section who doubles as the Government Delegate to the Bamenda City Council, was in the chair when CPDM supporters demonstrated their appreciation and went further to state preparedness to take measures to safeguard and plan ways to ensure the perfect functioning of the section. It was against this backdrop that Ndumu Nji Vincent mobilised supporters to work towards identifying men and women who are competent, popular and ready to sacrifice to represent the new section in imminent legislative and parliamentary elections. Party supporters later retired with lessons to practise inclusive politics because Mezam 1-A Bamendankwe is a cosmopolitan area.

Regular meetings at cell, branch and sub Section levels and the promotion of women were prescribed to keep the party alive. It also emerged from the rally that a letter should be forwarded to the party’s hierarchy on the negative acts of the defunct Mezam I section towards Mezam I-A Section. An amicable approach was also prescribed for the settlement of differences within the new section.

Prominent at the rally was the representative of HRH Fon Fongwa II of Bamendankwe, CPDM sub section presidents and supporters. Away from that, curtains dropped on the event with a motion of gratitude to the CPDM National President and Head of State, Paul Biya.
