Cameroon’s Investment Potentials Highlighted

In its third edition, “Investir Au Cameroun” magazine presents investment potential sectors.

Investment opportunities in Cameroon have been assembled and published in a magazine with emphasis on ongoing projects as well as those that can attract potential investors. True to its name, “Investir Au Cameroon” in its third edition highlights ongoing giant projects in agriculture, energy, mineral and other growth sectors of the economy.

On its green front page depicting Cameroon’s tropical forest, the 24-page magazine opens the incisive reports with a general headline, “De grandes ambitions dans la criossance verte.” American investors in the oil palm sector, Koreans in urban transport, Germans in agriculture with a fertilizer plant and renewable energy, France in rural development and China in modernising telecommunications, just to mention these few, have been x-rayed. The magazine in a double-spread also provides a guide to investors in a column titled, “Le guide de l’investisseur.”

It equally highlights the imminent take off of the Memve’ele Hydroelectric Dam Project and the state of advancement of the Kribi industrial ports complex in the South Region, a 500-km road in view in the Mbalam iron ore project in the East Region as well as low-cost housing projects in the country.

Ongoing government moves to save the environment from polluters, the recommendations of the recent visit of an IMF review mission and a joint Cameroon-Nigeria envisaged rich oil exploration in the Bakassi peninsula are also in the spotlight. The magazine is published by a China-based Publishing House, Stratline Limited, Hong Kong.
