The website for the project indicates that Kribi is estimated to generate around 216 megawatts into the south interconnection grid. Some 40 billion CFA francs ($81 million) have been already used up from the total estimate of 170 billion CFA francs . This also comprises of a 3 billion CFA francs that has been deployed in lieu of compensation for the locals public who reside in the region, Bitanga told the government delegation that was headed by House Speaker Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.
