The incumbent ends his campaign in Kribi and gives Cameroonians every reason to be hopeful.

Hopeful because, according to predictions, the Kribi Deep Seaport shall be one of the most gigantic projects ever realized in recent times.

The economic benefits are many and, conscious of its importance, President Paul Biya laid the foundation stone, a gesture which marks the effective beginning of construction work for the project whose first phase shall be completed by 2014.

Besides the port, a number of road and railway networks shall be constructed to facilitate export of iron ore, alumina, cobalt and nickel from a plethora of mining projects to be realized in the next five years.

President Paul Biya, addressing CPDM militants indicated that the project has the potential of raising Cameroon to an emerging country but requested support from the people come this 9th October through the ballot box.

The response was instant; the shouts were laud, 100 percent. The Presidential couple left the ceremonial ground proud of having given the people every reason to be hopeful.
