The Junior Lions on Saturday played a one-all draw against Sierra Leone in a match counting for the second round qualifying series of the Africa Cup of Nations in that category. The host opened scores at the 30th minute before Eloundou levelled scores for Cameroon at the 62nd minute. With the away goal in Sierra Leone, Cameroon has taken a good option towards qualifying for the final round of the competition to take place in Algeria during the return, leg in a fortnight in Yaounde.
Mayebi Reinstated by Olympic Committee
The former first vice president of the Cameroon football federation, David Mayebi, who was radiated for life from the federation, has been reinstated by the National Olympic and Sports Committee. However, it is not known what credence can be given to the decision given that the decisions of the Olympic committee are not binding on federations within FIFA instances. It would be recalled the Olympic Committee was also against the suspension of Samuel Eto’o and Eyong Enoh.

Elles culmineront le 4 août prochain avec la finale proprement dite en dames et messieurs. Yannick Azangue, Claude Nzoundza (dames), Célestine Nkoueleu, Ayissi Ndzomo partent favoris. Les matches se joueront en simple et en double.
