George is an employee at the Credit Communautaire d’Afrique (CCA) financial institution. While working as a painter in the branch office under construction at the Emombo neighborhood, George stole a 30kg bucket of paint and used a rope to send it behind the building in construction.
After completing his operation discreetly, George decided to go behind the structure and carry the bucket of paint. Unfortunately for him, the rope on which the bucket was hanging cut and the bucket of paint fell on the head of a 70-year old woman who resides behind the building. The victim immediately screamed with shock and pain.
Her voice alerted the population. Policemen from the Mimboman police station arrived and, after investigation, arrested the paint thief. George finally lost his job and will appear before the State Counsel in the days ahead.
