The Regional Championship for the Littoral was played in Douala on Friday 10th August.
Pomp and pageantry overwhelmed Oum of Limbe’s fans and supporters following the team’s brilliant performance in the finals of the Littoral Regional Championship in Douala on Friday, 10th August. The football team from the seaside city outplayed Bama FC of Yabassi 2-1 during a hotly contested encounter at the Bepanda Reunification Stadium.
The victory qualifies the Limbe team for the Zonal Tournament, during which it will be meeting teams from other regions of Cameroon. The match that was chaired by Joseph Elongo of the Littoral Governor’s Office in the presence of other sport officials of the region saw Bama FC opening scores. Their opponent soon reacted and equalised the scores, but soon dominated in their playing style, scoring for the second time to carry the day.
