New Full Gospel Executive Elected

The new team will be commissioned on September 5 in Yaounde.

The Full Gospel Mission, Cameroon, FGMC, recently witnessed change in its leadership. The new executive of FGMC will be commissioned on Sunday September 5, 2012 in Yaounde.

The announcement was made during a press briefing by the church in Yaounde on Monday, August 27, 2012. The executive was elected on March 23, 2012 during national elections. The new team is made up of Rev. Enonchong Daniel Mbiwan as General Superintendent and Rev. Sokeng Alain Clement as Vice Superintendent. The Secretary General is Rev. Ngalle Martin while Rev. Manga William Njuma is the General Treasurer. They have a mandate of five years.

Speaking to journalists, the General Superintendent, Rev. Daniel Mbiwan said the church is an important partner of the State in the building of the nation. He said given President Paul Biya’s Great Realisations policy of making Cameroon an emergent nation by 2035, the FMGC intends to continue to preach the word of God to Cameroonians. This is with the view of building young men and women who are hard-working, talented and above all, love the nation.

The FGMC has in the past five decades impacted the nation spiritually, socially, educationally and culturally. Today, the FGMC numbers about 100,000 members, over 1,000 churches with 7,000 pastors in its 10 mission areas and 70 mission districts.
