Information Technology (IT) specialists from companies across Cameroon upgraded their knowledge of new storage and unified solutions (VNX) and Backup resources solutions, with the goal of reducing cost and human resources. A seminar to upgrade IT users’ knowledge held at the Douala Sawa Hotel on Wednesday, October 31.

Worldwide leader for storage solutions (EMC) and SOCITECH, serving to integrate information solutions and Oracle, organised the seminar which sensitised Information and Technology users on how to better manage their IT environment using the new unified storage solutions. These solutions are three times faster, three times simpler to use and three times more efficient. The Backup resources solution, on its part, is seven times faster and this will help reduce backup timeframe, optimise the use of human resources, increase security of data, provides high availability of data to the end user. It will help reduce cost and improve productivity.
