The executive committee was reshuffled and given the mandate to transform the club from an association to a limited liability company.

The mythical club from Nkolndongo-Yaounde, Canon, is determined to be abreast with the new dispensation in this era of professionalizing football in Cameroon. The board of directors of the club meeting in an ordinary session on Sunday November 4 at the Yaounde Sports Complex decided to transform the club from an association to a limited liability company with shareholders and a capital of FCFA100 million. A share would cost FCFA10.000 and a bailiff was appointed to manage the operation.

Meanwhile, the board chairlady, Celine Eko emerged victorious in the standoff that opposed her to a member of the council of wise men, Olinga Gêner as she was maintained in office and given the mandate to conduct the activities of the club during the transitional period until the first meeting of shareholders of the club. Some 14 recalcitrant members of the club lost their voting rights owing to non-payment of dues. Whereas two members of the board; Celestin Iyike and Mvondo Mbede Henri were excluded from the club for failing to pay their contributions and acting against the interest of the club during the past football season.

The executive bureau was reshuffled with the appointment of Joachim Claude Essomba Abanda as new General Manager of the club in replacement of Roger Ebode who assumed the interim after the resignation of Louis Marie Ondoa. Pierre Wome Nlend was also appointed officer in charge of the recruitment and evaluation of players while Germain Noel Essengue was appointed the communication officer. Wome said despite his appointment, he will still be playing next football season as his duties should not be confused with that of Aboubakar Souleymanou, who remains the coach of the club.
