Total Mobilisation In Obala For Voter Registration

The population of Obala, Lekie Division of the Centre Region, in general and supporters of the Cameroon Peoples’ Democratic Movement (CPDM) party in particular, have pledged to knock all doors

and comb all the nooks and crannies of the Sub-division to sensitise and mobilise potential voters to register massively on the ongoing biometric voter registration. They made the fervent wish yesterday November 6 as they joined the rest of the country in celebrating the 30th anniversary of the New Deal Regime under President Paul Biya.

“In 30 years, the Head of State has left no sector, no Region and no Division indifferent with socio-economic development. To show our unalloyed support for him and the institutions he incarnates, we need to support him to consolidate his grip on the State. And this passes through casting our votes in his favour in future elections like we have always done. For this, we need to register massively so that when the moment comes, we can give him an unmatched victory.”

This was the catch phrase from all the speeches from the representative of the Central Committee of the CPDM, Medjo Martin through the Mayor of Obala, Simon Pierre Ediba to the Presidents of all the wings of the party in the Lekie East section during the festive celebrations at the ceremonial ground in Obala. A motion of congratulations, thanks and encouragement and a solidarity walk for the Head of State rounded off the colourful ceremony.
