The installation ceremony was presided at by the Littoral Governor last Friday
Availability, punctuality, assiduity and vigilance were the key words prescribed by the Governor of the Littoral Region, Joseph Beti Assomo, while commissioning the newly appointed Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) for Wouri last Friday November 9. Holding at the UDEAC ceremonial ground, it was a mammoth crowd comprising of administrative, municipal, political, religious and traditional authorities, alongside well wishers that turned out for the august event.
In his installation address, Joseph Beti Assomo enthuse the new SDO, Paul Naseri Bea to practice an administration of proximity as well as be a pace setter. It is incumbent on Paul Naseri Bea to uphold developmental strides especially in the wake of decentralisation prone by the Head of State. Thus, he was charged to follow up the financial and physical execution of earmarked projects within in his area of jurisdiction, aimed at fostering sustainable development; render unalloyed support in the smooth running of the biometric registration exercise by Elections Cameroon (ELECAM). Without mincing words, the Governor urged the new SDO to wage a relentless war against public disorder and nuisance punishable by law, as orchestrated by commercial motor bike riders, drinking spots and clandestine churches; not leaving out the illegal designation, enthronement and installation of chiefs.
