On the night of Tuesday, November 20, 2012, a team of the Rapid Intervention Unit, ESIR, arrested a young man at the vicinity of “Boulangerie du Rail” in Bonaberi with a toy gun.

Kisito Mbouh and his friend on the run had just assaulted a certain Thierno Amadou Diallo with help of the toy. After the assault, Amadou Diallo informed the security officers on patrol around the area. Inspector Desire Roland Biakolo Biakolo and his ESIR team mounted a rapid search which landed them on Kisito Mbouh, the principal suspect.

Upon interrogation, the young criminal admitted having perpetrated the act with his cohort who is still at large. When he presented the object they used in assaulting the victim, the policemen discovered that it was a toy.

Mr. Diallo later declared to the policemen that the two “armed” bandits of a type robbed him of the sum of FCFA 50.000. He was taken to the Central Police Station No.3 at Bonassama where investigations into the matter have been opened.
