They were told during their installation on Wednesday to demonstrate a high sense of competence.

Some eight newly appointed staff from the University of Yaounde I were commissioned into their new offices yesterday July 3,  by the Secretary General of the University of Yaounde I, Professor Jean-Emmanuel Pondi. Speaking on behalf of the Rector of the University of Yaounde I, Professor Pondi did not only congratulate the newly appointed for the confidence placed on them but also urged them to demonstrate a high sense of morality and competence in carrying out their duties.

Appointed by a ministerial decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and another from the Rector of the University of Yaounde I on June 28, 2013, the appointed staff will occupy different posts in the University of Yaounde I at the Division of Infrastructure, Equipment and Maintenance, Social Medical Centre, Central Library, Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, National Advanced School of Engineering and the IUT Bois Institution of Mbalmayo, Yaounde amongst others.

Beside thanking the out-going staff for their support in the academic, social and infrastructural development of the University of Yaounde I, the Secretary General told the newly commissioned staff to be just and humanly in treating their collaborators.
