Côte D’Ivoire’s Constitutional Council President At ELECAM

A visiting delegation from Côte D’Ivoire led by the President of the Constitutional Council, Francis Vanga Wodie was yesterday July 16, 2013 received at the head office of Elections Cameroon. The delegation held discussions with ELECAM President, Samuel Fonkam Azu’u accompanied by his Vice President, Barrister Justin Ebanga Ewodo and the Deputy Director of Elections, Erik Essousse.

The delegation on a tour to the Sub-region sought to know how ELECAM operates. Francis Vanga Wodie told the press after the audience that he was happy to meet an election body waxing and working for the common good. He expressed the wish to consolidate relations between ELECAM and Côte D’Ivoire’s Constitutional Council.

ELECAM President, Samuel Fonkam Azu’u equally hinted to reporters that the visiting delegation was interested in knowing the role played by the body in proclaiming results which for the time being is reserved for the country’s Supreme Court seating in for the Constitutional Council. Both organs work comparatively he said, with each having precise missions.

Wodie disclosed that they were already in Chad and from Cameroon, the delegation will go to Gabon, Congo and South Africa. The delegation was accompanied to the audience by Côte d’Ivoire’s Ambassador to Cameroon, Adama Dosso.http://cameroon-tribune.cm
