Below is a release from the National Assembly:

“In compliance with Article 9 of Law N° 73/1 of 8 June 1973; Standing orders of the National Assembly, the Secretary General of the National Assembly hereby informs the substantive candidates who were declared to have been elected at the 30 September 2013 parliamentary elections by the Supreme Court sitting as the Constitutional Council that they are convened in a statutory ordinary session on Tuesday 29 October 2013 at 4 pm.

In this regard, all the substantive candidates are requested to submit the following documents, which are required for the verification of their mandate, to the Secretary General of the National Assembly before the opening day of the above-mentioned session:

- A certificate of non-conviction of not more than three months old;

- A copy of birth certificate or authenticated document in lieu thereof; and

- A certificate of individuality where necessary”.
