Some 99 young Cameroonians drawn from some four Divisions of the South West Region on Friday, 29 November 2013 ended a month-long training programme that aimed at imparting them with agriculture skills in the domain of maize, cassava, vegetable, water melon and Irish potatoes cultivation.

The training organised by the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development in Buea, Eyumojock, Mundemba and Akwaya was limited this year to youth in border towns, street children, Albinos, and Mbororos.

The Regional Coordinator of the Agency in the Region, Mr. Vivanje, who was speaking in a press briefing to evaluate the 2013 training, told reporters that applications for next year’s training programme are already being received at all offices of Youth Affairs and Civic Education Ministry in the Region, free of charge.
