A delegation of Cameroonian athletes is in Tunisia to take part in the African wrestling championship that will run from March 28 to 30, 2014. The competition will be in the senior free and roman fights

in both the men and women categories. About 14 countries are taking part in the competition. Cameroon is participating with 12 athletes; six boys and six girls. However the delegation left the country yesterday with 11 athletes as the 12th Rebecca is based in Senegal and will join the rest of the delegation directly in Tunis. According to the first vice president of the Cameroon wrestling federation, Ngo Nka’a Alphonsine, Cameroon stands a chance of winning medals. Her only worry is with the new rules injected by the African wrestling federation to which the Cameroonian athletes are not well versed.
