It emerged from their Council session of April 15, 2014 that the council has settled all salary arrears inherited from their predecessors and are regular with staff salaries.

Choh Issa Buba regrets that they met a debt of about FCFA 153 million, but it is yet to be a speed brake in their commitment to rise to expectation and ensure the welfare of the population. The way forward according to Choh Issa Buba includes infrastructural planning and good management to ensure good governance, best use of human resources and building partnerships for balanced development to take care of the future. It is all about giving Babessi a chance in peace, unity and development.
