Albert Ndile Is No More

The former Inspector General in the Ministry of Finance died on May 24, 2014 in Yaounde.

Albert Ndile, Inspector General in charge of Budgetary and Administrative Services in the Ministry of Finance is no more. He died on Saturday May 24, 2014 in Yaounde after a brief illness.

Albert Ndile was born on the 30th of July 1958 in Tombel, Kupe Muanenguba Division, in the South West Region. He attended primary school in Tombel and secondary school in Presbyterian High School (PHS) Kumba in the South West Region. After secondary and high school education, the late Albert Ndile got admission into Cycle B of the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) in 1982 where he studied treasury.

He later got admission into Cycle A of ENAM in 1991 and graduated as a Senior Treasury Inspector. He worked as paymaster of the Eseka Treasury before being posted to the Tiko Treasury where he worked as paymaster. He was later paymaster of the Limbe Treasury from 1993 to 1997 before he was appointed Director of Salaries in the Ministry of Finance.

On June 14, 2013, he was appointed Inspector General in charge of Budgetary and Administrative Services in the Ministry of Finance; a post he occupied till death. Late Albert Ndile was the President of the General Assembly of Labogenie, board member of the University of Douala, the National Social Insurance Fund and the Advanced School of Public Management. Socially, he was the President of the Ex-students Association of Presbyterian High School Kumba.

He was also a member of the Christian Men Fellowship (CMF) Bastos congregation. At the political level, he was a resource person of the CPDM Central Committee. Albert Ndile was the second child in a family of six. He lives behind a wife and six children to mourn.
