They beat Argentina 1- 0 on July 13, 2014, at the Estadio do Maracana in Brazil to grab the 20^th FIFA World Cup.

The German National team has won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The “Mannschaft” grabbed the trophy after beating the Argentina national team 1 – 0. The German goal was scored at the 113^th minute by Mario Goetze after receiving a beautiful cross from Andres Schurrle at the left flank.

Under the auspices of Nicola Rizzoli, who became the third Italian to officiate a FIFA World Cup final, the encounter at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro in the presence of over 74, 738 spectators, began with a lot of intensity from both sides. The first time they mounted the podium was in 1954. Since then, they have been navigation around the World Cup podium with two quarter-finals, runners-up once and twice the third-place position.
