37 year old Angeline Mouteck boarded a bike at Shell Besseke for Village neighbourhood on August 11 only to be bitten by a poisonous snake while on the bike.

According to the bike rider, few meters after carrying Angeline, he carried another passenger at Terminus ST. Michel who had a small bag with an unknown content. The man, who sat closely behind the lady held and placed the bag on his right leg. As they rode towards the Village Market, the woman shouted Stop! Stop! Something has bitten me around the right rib. The bike rider stopped immediately. While the passengers were trying to alight from the bike, a big snake came out of the male passenger’s bag. As the population focused in stoning the snake to death, the snake owner vamoosed. The woman is presently receiving medical attention at the Laguintinie Hospital in Douala.
