Some three athletes of the Cameroon athletics federation are on their way to Morocco to take part in the second edition of the athletics continental Cup.

The athletes, who gained their qualification for the world event during the last African championship in morocco, comprise Auriole Dongmo, Joelle Mbumi Sandrine and Fernand Djoumessi. Auriole Dongmo will be taking part in the short put event while Sandrine Mbumi will be engaged in the women’s long jump event.

Fernand Djoumessi on his part will be competing in the high jump discipline. The continental cup which replaces the world athletics championship will take place on September 13 and 14. It regroups athletes from all the five continents.
