The purpose of the donation, which consists of five desktop computers, two printers, 25 kits, chloride solution, toilet rolls, and other didactic materials, worth FCFA 1,536,000, is to encourage initiation of the close to 1000 pupils into the digital world in the phase of rapid globalisation. While presiding over the handing ceremony, Edou Edou Floride, Douala II Subdivisional Inspector of Basic Education, said the donation is in line with government efforts to eradicate digital illiteracy among young people in the country.
