Penne Robert has declared his interest to run for the coveted post of Fecafoot president when the elections come up on November 26, 2014.
He said as former Fecafoot vice president, head of delegation to the glorious Sydney Olympics and former director of CENAJES Bertoua, he has the experience necessary to steer the Fecafoot boat. He is building his campaign on four main issues; re-assembling the football family, giving power to the real actors of football, developing football infrastructure and re-organising the federation.
Penne who claims to be a team leader said if elected he would construct 50 stadiums in the country and ten training centres in all the Regional capitals of the country. The Member of Parliament is also promising to re-invigorate youth and women football as well as futsal, beach soccer and other specialised disciplines. Penne said he joined Fecafoot in 1996 but left due to the cacophony that prevailed at that time and his motivation to come back is to put order back in the Fecafoot house.
