Mr. Wirmven George Yiran from Douala whose Four-Wheel-Drive vehicle was seized by armed robbers on the night of 24^th October 2014 on the tarred portion of the road leading to Tatum in Nkum Subdivision in Bui Division, has retrieved his vehicle.

Thanks to the Company Commander of the Gendarmerie company Kumbo Major Akono Claude who received the information late that night and worked till 3:30 am on the morning of the 25^th of October 2014 sending out information concerning the vehicle to all Gendamerie Brigades in the North west and the West Regions. According to Major Akono Claude the Mayor of Mbiame Council Mr. Fonyuy Fidelis Bernsah came with Mr. Wirneven George Yiran after mid night in his house to report about the theft.

According to the facts of the story Mr. Wirmven George Yiran had a sum of one million francs in his car changed into a sum of 500francs. He was coming to Tatum to condole with a friend of his who lost the mother. The bandits who seized the vehicle abandoned it at Maja near Koutaba in the West Region on the 26^th o October 2014 after having emptied the vehicle of the sum of one million france C.F.A.

Major Akono Claude went to Koutaba on the 27^th of October 2014 and collected the stolen vehicle to the owner at Tatum. Meanwhile a motor cycle which was abandoned at the scene of the attack was collected by Major Akono Claude to the Gendarmerie Company Kumbo where its owner later on collected on presentation of identification papers on the 28^th of October 2014.

It will be recalled that one month ago at the same spot armed robbers ambushed a trader from Tatum who was going to Bafoussam to buy goods. The trader whose only name we got as Mr. Bime is said to have lost close to two million CFA to the thieves. The reoccurrence of these incidents at that spot is a pointer to the fact that  permanent patrols at that spot are a must at all times in the night.
