While players fine-tune skills in the build up to the Africa cup of Nations, media houses in Cameroon have also been preparing to cover the event. Most have changes their programme schedule to fit in special slots for the AFCON while other have designed new programmes or columns dedicated to the tournament.

Though they will be sending reporters to cover the event first hand in Equatorial Guinea, many press organs are taking measures to cover how Cameroonians back at home will be living the event. All the Cameroon press organs say they will pay particular interest in the activities of the Indomitable Lions but also have an eye on the other teams taking part in the competition especially the host country, Equatorial Guinea. We sampled the views of some press men and women and this is what they had to say concerning their preparation for the event.
