The Country Manager of the International Finance Corporation says he has signed an agreement to this effect.

The bureau of the International Finance Corporation, IFC, an arm of the World Bank, has signed an agreement with the Central Bank of Africa to develop credit rating for private enterprises allowing easier and better access to credit. The Country Manager of IFC for Central Africa covering Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, Henri Rabarijohn, was at the Ministry of Finance on March 3, 2015 where he revealed to the press after an hour’s discussions with Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey that his institution was providing comprehensive solutions to clients in developing countries to address today’s greatest development challenges.

IFC’s offers are designed to meet the specific needs of its clients in different industries with focus on infrastructure, manufacturing, agribusiness, services and financial markets. Henri Rabarijohn and Alamine Ousmane Mey examined the progress report of IFC and partner funded projects like the Kribi Deep Seaport and Dibamba energy projects.

“The Cameroon Business Forum will hold in Metropolitan Douala of the Littoral Region Monday next week and we are ready to examine with government progress made in the implementation of reforms,” he noted. Above all, Henri Rabarijohn knocked at the doors of Alamine Ousmane Mey to express satisfaction at “his openness, availability and collaboration during my six years plus in Cameroon. I have been long enough to be an honorary Cameroonian,” he said.
