The national U-20 Lions who were supposed to take part in an international tournament in Austria organised by Aspire, finally were unable to leave the country due to lack of visas.  

The Belgian embassy which was supposed to grant visas of entry into Austria, failed to do so because of irregularities in the ages of players. Unconfirmed sources say, two brothers who are not twins are said to be separated by only three months age difference whereas others had applied unsuccessfully for visas to other Schengen countries with different names and dates of birth.

Third category of irregularities purportedly had to do with names of people who are not footballers on the list. For this reason, the Belgian embassy refused to grant visas to the whole delegation.
